Current CSA members continue to add to the society tradition of excellence as their art is displayed in local, national, and international exhibitions and galleries.
CSA routinely exhibits at the Anderson Art Center in Kenosha, Lewis University in Romeoville, Gallery Seven in Lockport, and the Vanderpoel Gallery in Beverly. Member works are also exhibited in major art museums and in private art collections.
Individual art works published in the annual CSA Calendar are also displayed annually in exhibitions. The exhibit for 2021 & 2022 is shown below.

CHICAGO SOCIETY OF ARTISTS : A 135-Year Legacy Continues Opening on Saturday, April 30, 2022, Tall Grass Gallery will present Chicago Society of Artists: A 135-Year Legacy Continues, a large exhibit of works by 35 highly respected and honored artists. We hope you will join us at the Opening Reception that day from 1 – 3pm to welcome the artists and view this very diverse and exciting collection of works. The Chicago Society of Artists is a non-profit organization started in 1887. Now well into its second century, CSA is the oldest continuing artist association in the United States. Since its incorporation in 1889, the primary objective ofCSA has been the advancement of art. Much of CSA’s renown is due to member versatility which includes painters, graphic artists, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, art critics, art gallery curators and art educators. Today CSA continues to play a significant role in the arts –often far beyond the boundaries of Chicago – by providing opportunities in which artists share their art production and experiences through a continuing series of exhibitions and educational programs.
